Panama City, FL - Gulf Coast Community College’s Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) program will be holding their annual theatre scholarship auditions and interviews for 2010-2011 enrollments on Monday, March 29, 2010; from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

There is no age limit for students interested in auditioning for the scholarships, but they need to have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants need to come prepared with the following, depending on the performing arts track in which they have an interest:

For Acting: Two contrasting monologues not to exceed three minutes.
For Musical Theatre: One monologue and 16 bars of a song. (Applicants will need to bring sheet music or an accompaniment track without vocals.)
For Directing/Stage Management/Design: Applicants will need to come for a technical interview and bring their portfolio and resume and a sample of work if available.
