Do you Love to work outdoors and build things?

This program will prepare you for a career in the residential and commercial construction industry. Your career possibilities include construction supervisor, job foreman, or office support staff performing such duties as purchasing or estimating. You'll learn to use AutoCADTM , read blueprints and apply surveying techniques.

If you have previous building experience you may seek to obtain either a county or state contractor's license.

Who is eligible for the building Construction Technology - building and construction Option, A.S. program?

If you are a high school graduate, you can apply to this program.

If you have earned credits from a regionally accredited college or university, you may have a head start at Gulf Coast State College.

Drafting Lab

You'll acquire the skills you need to be successful in Gulf Coast State College's  Advanced Technology Center on our Panama City campus. Our high-tech drafting lab and state-of-the-art computer labs allow you to design in a dynamic, creative environment.
