If you have an interest in designing and developing drawings and schematics for the construction of buildings, then our two-year Drafting and Design Technology - Architecture Option, A.S. is the program for you. This program is designed to prepare you for entry-level work in drafting and design. Gulf Coast State College offers the necessary courses to help you develop the skills that employers are looking for today. You will get hands-on training in both board drawing and computer-assisted drafting with the latest release of AutoCAD, Revit for Architecture and Inventor for Mechanical.

Who is eligible for the Drafting and Design Technology - Architecture Option, A.S. program?

If you are a high school graduate, you can apply to this program.

If you have earned credits from a regionally accredited college or university, you may have a head start at Gulf Coast State College.

Drafting Lab

You'll acquire the skills you need to be successful in Gulf Coast State College's  Advanced Technology Center on our Panama City campus. Our high-tech drafting lab and state-of-the-art computer labs allow you to design in a dynamic, creative environment.
