Course Descriptions

COOPERATIVE EDUCATION

Cooperative Education courses may be taken toward completion of most of the Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degree programs. A maximum of six credit hours may be used in meeting the A.A. degree requirements.
3 crs.

Prerequisite: Minimum of 2.0 GPA, completion of cooperative education application, interview with the coordinator, availability of training slot. Minimum of 150 hours of supervised, practical work experience in an appropriate business, industry, government agency, or institution related to the co‐op's major field of study. Requirements include weekly logs, mid‐term and end‐of‐term assignments.
