FAQs
Who can participate?
Education Encore is for adults. Participants are not
required to have Florida residency.
When is it offered?
Education Encore is offered during the fall and spring
semesters. Classes in each semester meet once a
week for six consecutive weeks. The day of the week
depends on which campus you choose to attend.
What is the cost?
The fee for participants at the Panama City Campus is $88 for the six-week program, which includes four classes each Friday.
The fee for participants at the Gulf/Franklin Center is $66, which includes three classes each Wednesday.
To ensure the viability of the total program, we do not charge on a per-class basis. Therefore, the fee is the same whether you attend one class or more.
Where are the classes held?
Each course description includes the abbreviated classroom location. Participants will be notified of class location changes during orientation.
What about special needs?
Participants who have a disability that may require
special assistance are requested to contact the Office
of Disabled Student Services at 850.872.3834 at least
one week prior to the first day of class.
