What is Education Encore?
Education Encore is a program offered by The Center for Business, Continuing, and Community Education at Gulf Coast Community College. The program provides non-credit enrichment classes for mature adults on a wide variety of topics, including weather, photography and computer literacy.

The program has been operated on a volunteer basis since 1991 through the Education Encore Advisory Council (EEAC).

This council supports the program planning, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum and encourages all participants to become actively involved.

The goal of Education Encore is to provide a learning environment that is lively and full of fun, and offers diversity, insight, and wisdom – one in which mature adults explore new ideas and make their own unique contributions.
