Encore
Request For Scholarship

Education Encore is an educational enrichment program for adults sponsored by Gulf Coast Community College's Office of Lifelong Learning. It provides non-credit educational experiences for mature adults. It offers an array of courses in such areas as humanities, art, computers, health, wellness, and much more. Classes are fun and informal, providing an exciting way for senior citizens to share new ideas and make new friends.

The Samuel L. Westerman Foundation has awarded a grant to the Gulf Coast Community College Foundation earmarking it for adults who would like to be a part of the Education Encore experience but can not afford it. The assistance covers registration fees for all Education Encore courses and any associated course supplies during the semester in which the applicant receives assistance.

To apply, fill out the form and press the Submit button. The form will be sent to the Education Encore office. You may complete the form and mail to GCSC, ATTN: Continuing Education, 5230 W. Highway 98, Panama City, FL 32401. Recipients awarded registration fee assistance will be notified by mail.

Deadline for submission is two weeks prior to the program start date. For more information, email: jbarr@gulfcoast.edu or call 850-872-3823 or 800-311-3685 x3823. Paper copies of this form are available by calling this same number.
