A memoir is a story, a narrative from the writer’s life that focuses on an experience, a time frame, an episode, a lesson, a discovery.  Writing a memoir is writing the words that reveal a part of you—a part that can help someone else.  The class will cover:  Understanding the memoir, study and discussion of examples,  choosing the focus /event / story for your memoir, what is your goal with this work, organization of chronology and location, structure and tense in telling the story, dialog—recreating and keeping it honest,  tough choices—what to put in and what to leave out, and completing a rough draft.  Instructor:  Karon  Phillips

This course will give students the basics knowledge to use eBay.com.  The course will first review how to purchase items on eBay including safe purchasing practices and finding the best deal.  The second portion of the course will review how to sell items including professional practices and getting paid.  Turn that junk into income now!   Instructor:  Sean Libby

Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google)
This course is an introductory course to four main social networking sites:  Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and Twitter.  Students will learn about social media etiquette along with the basics of each site.  You will attain a knowledge of these four networking sites.  Students will explore the many different features of Facebook and Twitter including account management and privacy settings, and will learn how to create an account.  Instructor:  Sean Libby
