Designed to prepare students for the Building Contractor’s Exam, state and federal laws, safety codes, building codes, construction methods and technology, and practical field knowledge leading to A, B and C licenses. Course can also be used for general knowledge in the construction field. Prerequisite: consent of Instructor, Dr. Lou Churchill 850.265.6744. (56 hours)

Overview of Building Contractor Operations
CET 0788, $75
Fourteen hour overview meets the mandatory Workplace Safety, Worker’s Compensation, and Business Practices requirements for both construction and electrical contractors license renewal, as well as the Technical requirement for electrical contractors. An additional hour has been added to cover the new Advanced Building Code requirement. (15 hours)
