The AIR FORCE AID SOCIETY (AFAS) is the official charity of the U.S. Air Force. It
promotes the Air Force mission by helping "to relieve distress of Air Force members

Best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans' families can
stay at no cost while a loved on is receiving treatment. They also provide additional

Their mission is "to stand in the financial cap of the more than one million dependents
adversely affected by war, providing educational scholarships to the children and

The mission of the Foundation is to provide much needed financial resources to help

are needs and challenges that can affect any student’s ability to successfully complete

ThanksUSA has established a scholarship program to assist dependent children and spouses
of U.S. military service personnel (who have served at least 180 days since 09/11/01),
including spouses and children of the Fallen and Wounded, who plan to continue their
