The GCSC Educator Preparation Institute program consists of 9 courses which, includes 2 field-experience classes. The program offers prospective and practicing teachers pragmatic skills for succeeding in today's K-12 classroom settings. The classes are presented over a 6-8 month period and include an orientation session as well as weekly online activities. Each course is offered in an accelerated format, in eight week mini-semesters.
GCSC EDUCATOR PREPARATION INSTITUTE COURSES To complete the program in 6-8 months, the following schedule is suggested. Students who enter the program in May will have adjusted schedules due to summer offerings. Candidates may opt to take fewer courses in each mini-semester.
