Everyone Needs to Apply!

Financial aid is any grant, scholarship, part-time employment or loan offered for the express purpose of helping students pay for education related expenses. Such aid is usually provided by federal, state, college, or private agencies. GCSC offers one or more of the various types of aid to students who apply and are found eligible.

Apply for admissions to GCSC. Click here

STEP 1:
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
STEP 2: Complete the Direct Loan request Form.
STEP 3: Complete the Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note.

Gulf Coast State College Foundation STARS Online You can apply for scholarships through our Foundation. They have part-time and full-time scholarships available. Apply early to be eligible.
Workforce Training Center The Workforce Training Center at GCSC is a state funded service provider offering educational training opportunities in A.S., Certificate, and Vocational careers that are high wage and high demand occupations.
Returning Students Program Academic and emotional support for single parents and displaced homemakers who enroll and meet certain criteria. Students qualifying may be eligible for tuition and book assistance based on funding availability.

Employment: Part-time jobs through the following programs require an overall 2.0 GPA. Students work 10-20 hours per week and earn minimum wage.

Federal Work Study (FWS) FWS is a federally funded, need based student work program. Indicate your interest in student employment on the FAFSA application. Applications and assignments are available in the Financial Aid Office or click here to e-mail questions.
