Study Skills


The following study tips can help you achieve your dream of obtaining a GED:

  1. Work on campus at least 8-10 hours per week

  2. Schedule your lab and study times like you would schedule your hours at a job

  3. Ask questions our trained staff is eager to help you

  4. Try learning through different senses by using our computer programs along with books and audio tapes

  5. Attend free workshops on topics ranging from math and science to test anxiety. This will reinforce what you learn when working on the computer in our lab. In addition, if you have Internet access at home or can work online at some other location, you should visit the link pages below on a regular basis. These links will direct you to free activities and resources to help you strengthen your skills in particular areas.
