Emergency Medical Services (EMS-AS)

AREA OF CONCENTRATION: Upon completion of the program, all graduates will have demonstrated the necessary knowledge, technical skill, and professional attitude and behavior to implement safe, effective, and appropriate care in their roles as entry level Emergency Medical Technician‐Basic (EMT‐B) or Paramedic.

Students interested in completing the Associate in Science (AS) degree in Emergency Medical Services must complete all of the coursework for the EMT and Paramedic programs in addition to the following 18 credit hours of General Education courses and 2 credit hours of NUR1142, Introduction to Pharmacology.
