Develops and administers an effective recruitment program.

Prepare personnel agenda for president’s recommendation to the District Board of Trustees.
Assist in the preparation of contracts for all administrative and faculty personnel, full- and part-time.
Coordinate the preparation of all college salary schedules and make recommendations for changes to the college president.
Directs the maintenance of personnel records by all departments.
Direct the inputting and maintaining of data into the computerized personnel system.
Develop and administer the orientation process for new personnel.
Maintain an applicant pool.
Act as the college Equity Coordinator, which includes the investigation of all discrimination and sexual harassment complaints.
Serve as custodian of personnel records for the college.
Directs benefits administration, enrollment and open enrollment for all college personnel.
Direct the processing of all Worker’s Compensation claims’ and reports.
Assist in the coordination of personnel training
Administers classification programs, which includes classifying and reclassifying positions and writing job descriptions.
Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable statutes and rules. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Monitors the performance management process.
Creates and implements all personnel processes.
Prepare various surveys and reports as requested.
Designs personnel forms.
Coordinate Section 125 Cafeteria Plan.
