Chair, Social Sciences

Teach credit courses in introductory sociology and social work.

Hold office hours for student interaction and advising.

Assess student performance.

Prepare materials for in-class and e-learning instruction.

Plan and prepare class schedules each semester and faciliate textbook decision process and ordering through the bookstore.

Serve on college committees.

Persue professional development.

Perform other duties as assigned.

9 month Faculty

Masters degree, with 18 semester hours of graduate credit in sociology. Additional 18 semester hours of graduate credit in social work preferred.
