If a book you need is checked out or not owned by the GCCC Library, let us borrow that book for you from another library. |
How? |
Submit a request for an ILL by using the online book or article form provided above, or by using the "Request Item" links found in the Florida College System catalog in LINCC, WorldCat, or other databases. |
Who? |
Students, faculty, and staff of GCCC are eligible for ILL services. |
How many? |
You may have five active requests at one time. |
How much does it cost? |
There is usually no charge for ILL, however, the library will check with you first before ordering items that incur a fee. |
How long can I keep it? |
The lending library dictates the loan period for their ILL materials. Books borrowed in ILL are generally available for 3 weeks. Some items can be renewed depending on the policy of the lending library. Please contact us in advance of the due date if you need to renew your ILL book; renewals of ILL books are not guaranteed, but we will be happy to contact the lending library with your renewal request. |
Fines? |
Fines for books borrowed through ILL are $1.00 per day. Please return the item on time.
