Photography Classes

Capture your life! Continuing Education offers an assortment of classes for professionals to beginners. Learn how to use your camera, choose the right gear, and how to shoot amazing photos. Take your skills to the next level!

Beginning Photography 

Beginning Photography will provide you with all the knowledge  to think creatively and capture an amazing photo. If you are confused on how to use a Smartphone or digital camera, this course will show you the way. Students will learn the elements and principles of art, design and how to utilize these topics to make an incredible photo. Through in-class and out-of-class assignments, location challenges (field trips), and in-class critiques you are guaranteed to leave this course a new photographer.

  • Experience Level: None needed
  • Supplies Needed: Smartphone and/or Digital camera (Point and shoot or DSLR)

Intermediate Photography  

Are you rusty with your photography skills or craving to learn more? In this course learn how to become a director. It is important as a photographer to know how to make subjects feel comfortable and relaxed. Participants will explore different styles from street to sports photography. Building from the basics of photography, students will learn about photography equipment and figure out their style. Discover your talent!

  • Experience Level: Prior photography knowledge
  • Supplies Needed: Smartphone and/or Digital camera (Point and shoot or DSLR)
