Announcements:

Day Law Enforcement Academy: The next daytime Law Enforcement class, CMS-15, will start in August.  The deadline to apply for the class is Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Class orientation and uniform fitting will be Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 10:00 am. Attendance at the orientation and uniform fitting is required. The first day of class will be Monday, August 25, 2008. The class meets Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Evening Law Enforcement Academy: The next evening Law Enforcement class, CMS-16, will start in January.  The deadline to apply for the class is Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Class orientation and uniform fitting will be Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 6:00 pm. Attendance at the orientation and uniform fitting is required. The first day of class will be Monday, January 12, 2009. The class meets Monday through Thursday from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Graduation for Correctional Officer Basic Standads Class 194 will be held in the Sarzin Lecture Hall, Lanuage & Literature Building, Panama City Campus at 6:00 pm, July 29, 2008.

Groudbreaking for the new joint use Bay County Emergency Operations Center and Public Safety Training Building April 17, 2008.
