Please follow these steps to enroll in one of the Early Childhood Education Programs at GCSC:
Apply for general admission to the college: Complete a general college application from the Admission Office. Applications are also available on the GCSC website at www.gulfcoast.edu.
Provide a high school transcript and any college transcripts: Applicants for admission should request that official high school transcripts, equivalencies, and any college transcripts be sent to the GCSC Admissions Office.
Take the college placement test: For applicants in the Early Childhood Education AAS and AA Degree Programs, contact the GCSC Testing Center to schedule your placement test (850-769-1551, extensions 3533/3856). Bring test scores to the advising appointment indicated below.
Contact TRIO Student Support Services: TRIO offers personal, academic, and career counseling; academic instruction and individualized tutoring; assistance in applying for financial aid; laptops for loan; and encouragement and support for students who have academic potential and the desire to succeed in college.
