Success Center - English

The Success Center employs two full-time Language Arts instructors to assist students enrolled in ENC0002, ENC0021, REA0001, and REA0002.  Students in ENC0002 are scheduled for fifty-minute labs each week to work on assignments, review grammar and writing areas that need strengthening, or study for tests. Handouts and Internet sources offer a variety of study aids. Click on the tutorial links above for helpful Web resources. Additionally, student tutors are on duty.

Students in ENC1101, ENC1102, or other upper-level English courses may register through Business, Continuing, and Community Education for a nominal fee. The Success Center English Staff can answer specific questions (Is the thesis clear?  Do these details support the main idea?  Is this how to document an Internet source according to MLA guidelines?). "How to" information and worksheets with practice exercises are also available.
