Marsha van Lawick Benton received her Bachelor's Degree from
Duke University in 1974 and her Master's Degree from Middlebury College
Graduate School of French in France in 1975.
In the fall of 1986, Mrs.
Benton began as a Language Arts adjunct professor after teaching in secondary
school and working as a private tutor locally. She worked on a temporary
full-time basis as an assistant professor in Language Arts from 1990 until
1993, returning to the department to teach English composition and
fundamentals of composition in the fall of 2001. She joined the Success
Center in January of 2002. |
