GCCC offers scholarships in Visual Art based on a portfolio submission each April for the next school year. Scholarships are available for both incoming freshmen and students enrolled in the art program. Students must be in the ART-AA program in order to apply for a scholarship. Theatre Scholarships
The GCCC Theatre Program offers scholarships in all three tracks: Acting/Directing, Musical Theatre and Design/Technical Theatre. Performance - based scholarships are awarded based on auditions each April for the next school year. Prospective students are asked to prepare two contrasting monologues (Acting/Directing track) or one monologue and one song (Musical Theatre Track). Students interested in a scholarship in the Design/Tech Track attend an interview and may bring a design or technical portfolio, if available. Students must be in the THEAT-AA program in order to receive a scholarship. Scholarships are available for both incoming freshmen and student already enrolled in the theatre program. Music Scholarships
The GCCC Music Program offers scholarships based on auditions in April of each year for the next school year.
Vocal and instrumental music scholarships are available and students are asked to prepare two contrasting pieces. In order to receive a music scholarship, students must be in the MUSIC-AA program.
Scholarships are also available for students chosen for the Singing Commodores Show Choir. These auditions include dancing as well as singing. All GCCC students may audition for the Singing Commodores. For more information, please call 872-3886.
Music Production Technology Scholarships
The Music Production Technology A.S. and Audio Technology Certificate Programs offer scholarship to students interested in the audio recording industry. Student must apply for these scholarships with the MPT Coordinator. For more information, call 769-1551 ext. 2888.
