Intensive career management services are the hallmark of this program. From the beginning steps of determining eligibility to employment in the field of study, career managers assist participants with enrollment, financial assistance, study guides, counseling and support. Participants are assisted in identifying problems encountered while in training in order to accomplish goals and obtain employment. Assignment of a participant to one career manager enables the participant to have one-on-one individualized services, to use funds in the most economical manner and to attain success in the workplace upon completion of the program.
The Workforce Training Center provides students an opportunity to receive financial assistance, career management services and follow-up services. The program requires students to complete the training program, to enter the workforce within 90 days after completion of training and to maintain employment in the field of study for one year. In addition, students are required to communicate with the career manager on a monthly basis while in training.
