The Workforce Training Center at Gulf Coast State College offers eligible participants a variety of training opportunities to increase their marketable skills and to help them gain employment.  Scholarships for training are assigned by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) through state and federal sources.  Trained, knowledgeable career managers provide one-on-one individualized career guidance to enhance success in today’s workforce.  Depending on program requirements, training services may be provided to include:

• Assessment of skills, knowledge, interests and goals
• Individual career counseling
• Case management and individualized planning
• Employment assistance
• Scholarship for tuition, books and supplies
