eLearning at Gulf Coast State College offers a combination of online and blended classes that give you the freedom to work around job and family obligations. When combined with traditional classes, online and blended classes can help you finish your degree or certificate faster so you can begin your career!
What should you expect? Taking online classes requires the ability to work independently, manage your time and prioritize your assignments. You will need a computer and regular access to the Internet. Other hardware and software requirements vary based on the class you are taking. Some classes may have certain technical requirements such as a specific software program.
Some classes are blended and provide the flexibility to complete the majority of the coursework online, but they also include a classroom component to give you face-to-face instruction and the ability to interact with fellow students.
For more information about online learning, contact the Assistant Coordinator of E-Learning at email@example.com, or contact the department at 850-872-3854.
Gulf Coast State College offers a variety of online degrees and certificates, many of which transfer to Florida institutions. If you are planning to complete your four-year degree through a college outside of Florida, be sure to check with that institution's admissions office to determine which classes will transfer. For more information on a specific degree, check with the program advisor listed.
