After you complete the Emergency Medical Services A.S program you will have the necessary knowledge, technical skill, and professional attitude and behavior to implement safe, effective, and appropriate care as an entry level Emergency Medical Technician‐Basic (EMT-B) or Paramedic.

Who is eligible for the Emergency Medical Services, A.S. program?

If you are a high school graduate, you can apply to this program.

If you have earned credits from a regionally accredited college or university, you may have a head start at Gulf Coast State College.
