If so, the Green Building Technology - Alternative Energy Option Certificate program is for you. You will be prepared for a career in the residential and commercial construction industry. Your career possibilities include construction supervisor, job foreman, or office support staff performing such duties as purchasing or estimating. You'll learn to use AutoCADTM , read blueprints, and utilize alternative energy and sustainable design to create green buildings.

If you have previous building experience you may seek to obtain either a county or state contractor's license.

Who is eligible for the Green Building Construction Technology - Alternative Energy Option, C.C.C. program?

If you are a high school graduate, you can apply to this program.

If you have earned credits from a regionally accredited college or university, you may have a head start at Gulf Coast State College.
