Would you like a career as a health professional working with imaging for medical diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of disease?  If you’re interested in a career in radiologic science, our professors will help you develop skills in X-ray, CT scans, magnetic imaging, ultrasound, and other techniques. 

 As a health professional in radiologic sciences, you will be working in one of the most expanding, and high demand fields in clinical medicine. You may specialize in Radiation Therapy, Sonography, Clinical management, and many other areas throughout your career.  Gulf Coast State College is here to help you build a solid foundation that will prepare you to continue your studies in radiologic science at a four-year institution. We offer the necessary prerequisites for the state of Florida university baccalaureate programs.

Who is eligible to work toward the Radiologic science Option, Liberal Arts A.A. DEGREE?

If you are a high school graduate, you can begin taking classes to attain this degree.

If you have earned credits from a regionally accredited college or university, you may have a head start at Gulf Coast State College.
