Computer/Telephone Move Request
Purpose: Office and lab computers must occasionally be moved to support college needs. To request a computer move you should submit a ticket through the self-service ticket system at least one week prior to the move date.
- Gather all information necessary to create the ticket. Include room numbers, tag numbers of computers and other equipment being moved and any special instructions. .
- Go to technical support to submit the request.
- Logon using your email Gulf Coast email address and network password.
- Make sure to fill in all of the blocks identified in red.
- Provide a short description such as “Move computer and phone from Library 243 to SUW 266”.
- Provide more details in the description box including requested dates and if maintenance has been contacted to move furniture.
- You will receive email updates as your request is processed.
- Please submit a separate ticket for each person to be moved.
