  • Non-degree Seeking Students - If you want to take a few classes without applying for a degree or certificate program please submit a non-degree seeking application (high school and college transcripts are not required).
  • Transient Students - If you are enrolled at another school but visiting Panama City, Florida, and would like to take a class at Gulf Coast State College follow these guidelines:
    • Transient students from a Florida public college can apply online at FloridaShines.
    • All non-Florida transient students need to submit a Gulf Coast State College transient application.
  • International Students - If you are a F-1 student or Non F-1 student please visit  International Student Admissions to help you through the process.

Most of our programs lead to two-year associate degrees, but Gulf Coast's programs range from a few hours for continuing education and enrichment programs to four-year bachelor's degree programs (longer if you need it).

In addition to Gulf Coast State College’s main campus in Panama City, you can take courses at the Tyndall Air Force Base Education Center, the North Bay Campus in Southport, Florida, and the Gulf/Franklin Campus in Port St. Joe, Florida. We offer a variety of instructional methods when planning your schedule.

If you are a returning student and have taken a class within the past 12 months or three semesters, you do not need to reapply, just visit our course schedule for the current course offerings.
