Florida Teacher Certification Exam Information

FLORIDA TEACHER CERTIFICATION
EXAMS (FTCE) INFORMATION

The Florida Teacher Certification Exams (FTCE) are required exams that you will have to take to complete the program.  All of the FTCE exams are given at a Pearson Vue testing center.

Subject Area Exam
General Knowledge Exam
Professional Education Exam

We suggest that you take the Subject Area Exam first, as you need a passing score on this to become fully admitted to the EPI program and participate in the field experience classes (EPI0940 & EPI0945) that are in the K-12 classroom.

These tests must be set up on FTCE’s website at http://www.fl.nesinc.com/.  You will be required to create an account and then be able to register and schedule testing.
