The GCSC Student Enactus team is recruiting student volunteers to help launch a new business incubator for the students at Jinks Middle School. You'll have the opportunity to mentor and coach youth in a variety of topics while helping them become empowered and successful in their lives.
Plus, you can earn 1 to 3 hours of elective academic credits by enrolling in one of the Fall semester Co-op courses (enrollment not required if you don't need the credit hours). You may also be eligible to represent GCSC at a regional and national Enactus team competition event!

AmeriCorps is a great opportunity for any student who is driven to gain great experiences and help their community. These positions are like internships and a stipend is earned as well as college award money for school or to help pay off student loans.
As an AmeriCorps Member serving at Goodwill Industries – Big Bend, Inc. you will gain life experience, valuable skills to enhance your resume and further your future job potential, while giving back to your community.
AmeriCorps members are vital to furthering Goodwill’s mission of removing barriers to employment through job placement, counseling, and career training services provided to the local community.
As an Americorps volunteer, students are compensated with a bi-weekly living allowance/stipend and at the end of the internship, an Education Award (funds can be used to help pay tuition/books/supplies and student loans).
If you work 25 hours a week, you receive a $500 per month living allowance and upon successful completion of service, an education award amount of $2,900.
If you complete a 40 hour per week internship, you receive $1,000 per month living allowance and upon successful completion of service, an education award amount of $5,800.

A stable and growing Panama City based general contractor/construction manager has a need for estimating and administrative assistance.
The ideal candidate would be passionate about construction and a professional possessing or working towards either an Associate’s degree in civil engineering technology or a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Building Construction.
Some practical construction experience would be helpful. Potentially flexible on work schedule. Strong ties to northwest Florida are a must.
