Early Childhood Education Program Now Offers Fast-Track Option
Gulf Coast State College is excited to announce the new fast-track option for the Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) certificate program.
The fast-track option is delivered in an online format where students can complete modules at an accelerated pace, while meeting individual time requirements and classroom observation with an approved childcare organization in Northwest Florida. Students who choose this option will work one-on-one with their instructors to develop a course completion plan. Earning the FCCPC certification, students are prepared to teach children from birth to the age of five, including pre-kindergarten programs across the state of Florida.
“The fast-track option offers a unique opportunity for Early Childhood Education students who would like to complete the FCCPC credential at an accelerated pace that offers flexibility while maintaining the individualized academic support and feedback provided by instructors,” said Patricia Schenck, Academic Program Coordinator. “The FCCPC fast-track option provides 11 hours of college credits that can be used toward completion of an Early Childhood Associate of Science degree. It’s definitely a win-win opportunity for students!”
