GCSC Hosts “Race to Innovation” Summer Camp for Kids

enactus summer camp

Gulf Coast State College’s Enactus Team is hosting “Race to Innovation,” a four-day summer camp for kids.

“Race to Innovation” is Enactus’ first annual entrepreneurial camp where children will engage in interactive and fun activities that will lead to entrepreneurial thinking. The students will work together in teams to design and test their own kites while learning the basics of leadership, teamwork, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

The camp is open to students entering or leaving third through fifth grade and will be held June 19 – 22, from 8:00 – 11:30 a.m. at Gulf Coast State College’s Advanced Technology Center. Light snacks will be provided and students are encouraged to bring their own lunch to enjoy on the rooftop after each session, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The cost to attend is $50 and space is limited.

To register your child for “Race to Innovation” or to find out additional information, please contact Emmanuel Hernandez at (850) 769.1551, ext. 2845 or ehernand3@gulfcoast.edu.
