GCSC Foundation hosts WISE (Wisdom in Senior Education) Fall Senior Forum
The Gulf Coast State College Foundation is hosting the 2017 WISE Fall Senior Forum. WISE stands for “Wisdom In Senior Education” and is designed to offer fun-filled and informative classes to adults living in the area. The session is titled “Military Perspectives – Past, Present & Future” and presenters with years of military experience will share their stories and insights. Speakers include:
- Dr. Suzanne Remedies, Director, Military & Veteran Services, GCSC (Ret. US Air Force)
- Dr. Ronald B. Hartzer, Author & Historian for the US Air Force
- Captain Dave Steere, Entrepreneur & Community Volunteer (Ret. US Navy)
- Lt. Colonel Ross Clemons, President, Clemons & Pierce, Inc. Retirement Plans Group (Ret. US Army)
The forum will be moderated by Tom Lewis, News Director at WMBB-TV, with a Q&A session following the presentation.
The event will be held Saturday, October 7 in the McSpadden Student Union East Building, 2nd floor conference center. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the program will run from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. The event is free to the public and registration is required. Tickets can be picked up at the GCSC Foundation Office (Student Union West, Room 325) or GCSC Corporate College reception desk (Student Union East, 2nd floor).
