GCSC Presents international poster exhibit "The Right to Decide"
The Visual & Performing Arts Division of Gulf Coast State College is excited to present “The Right to Decide,” an international poster exhibition on the subject of voting rights and fair elections. The exhibit is organized by the group Posters Without Borders and features posters by 62 artists from 25 countries, including some of the most respected poster artists in the world.
The exhibit will be on display from October 28 – November 23 in the Amelia Center Main Gallery, room 112.
There will be an opening reception for the exhibit the evening of October 28 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Gallery hours are Monday – Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Admission is free and open to the public.
In conjunction with the exhibit, the Bay County Public Library will host a sister exhibit featuring posters created by students from university design programs in the United States, Russia, Finland, Colombia and Taiwan. The exhibit will also be on display October 28 – November 23.
