Request For A Class Withdrawal After The Published Withdrawal Deadline

  1. A student who wishes to request a withdrawal after the published withdrawal deadline must pursue such request in writing to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
  2. The request must include the rationale for requesting the withdrawal.
  3. The request must be received by the Student Affairs office prior to the published first day of final exams of the semester for which the request is being made.
  4. Requests will not be accepted for: (a) a student's third or subsequent attempt of a class, (b) a class in which a grade of A, B, C, D or F has been posted, (c) a class from a previous semester.

The student who is granted a withdrawal after the published withdrawal deadline will NOT receive a refund for the class and will receive a grade of W for the class. A grade of W is considered an attempt of the class and is calculated in the student's completion rate.
