Request For A Class Withdrawal After The Published Withdrawal Deadline
- A student who wishes to request a withdrawal after the published withdrawal deadline must pursue such request in writing to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
- The request must include the rationale for requesting the withdrawal.
- The request must be received by the Student Affairs office prior to the published first day of final exams of the semester for which the request is being made.
- Requests will not be accepted for: (a) a student's third or subsequent attempt of a class, (b) a class in which a grade of A, B, C, D or F has been posted, (c) a class from a previous semester.
The student who is granted a withdrawal after the published withdrawal deadline will NOT receive a refund for the class and will receive a grade of W for the class. A grade of W is considered an attempt of the class and is calculated in the student's completion rate.
