Position Title: Culinary Arts Adjuncts/Chefs [This position is located in Franklin County area]

Reports To:

Chair; Business & Technology Department

Basic Function:

Responsibilities include teaching culinary courses such as described in the Culinary Management Associate of Science program. Prepare & deliver relevant & current curriculum using a variety of teaching methods & standardized tools which accurately reflect effectiveness of culinary course.

Classification:

 Part-Time Adjunct Instructor

Responsibilities:

Teach culinary courses such as described in the Culinary Management Associate of Science program

Ensure program compliance with FLDOE policies/GCSC Strategic Plan and ACF Accreditation

Perform curriculum development and course alignment (horizontal & vertical)

Conduct office hours: helping students with academic issues, academic advising, email, and calls

Participate in the College's Faculty recruiting and advising program

Work with other Faculty in ordering products for culinary labs

Maintain culinary budget

Attend and participate in planning, department, and advisory meetings as required

Perform duties outside the classroom in function/events serving both the community and College

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates of Applied Science (AAS) or Associates of Sciences (AS) Degree in Culinary Arts; 2 years industry experience & 2 years teaching/training experience.

Starting Salary:

 $663.00/Credit Hour
