Lego Robotics Register
Mindstorm combines classic LEGO® building with the world of robotics, using motors, sensors and software. You’ll learn how to design and program your LEGO® bots so they can perform all kinds of tasks! Students learn basic building and programming techniques as they work cooperatively to complete tasks, work through courses, and other robotic activities. STEM instructor, Maggie Odom, will guide you through this self-paced class.

Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead! Register
S.T.E.A.M. is an exciting and hands-on learning opportunity with a special emphasis on the S.T.E.A.M. curriculum areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). So let’s get moving … full S.T.E.A.M. ahead into the 21st century with LEGO® Robotics, Sciences, Painting, Theater and more.

Sampling Science Register
Embark on a series of science adventures as you learn about science through interactive and hands-on science activities. Discover cool chemical reactions, learn about earth’s environment as well as the space surrounding us, find out how weather is predicted, check out some of the tricks of forensic science, and even explore the local waters. Exciting explorations, delightful discoveries, and wild wonders await!

Junior Medics Register
Potential doctors and nurses will be intrigued by investigating organic specimens such as the heart, brain, eyes, and kidneys in this course. Examine the basics of biology and health issues with an emphasis on lifesaving. The marvels of the human body and the power of medical knowledge are the right “prescription” for summer learning. You will also receive CPR/First Aid certification training as a part of this course. This is a hands-on science applications class meant to be an enrichment opportunity for the inquisitive and focused learner. Due to many dissection activities, you must have a good attitude and strictly observe instructor’s guidelines.

Mining and Crafting I Register
Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out, make sure to build a shelter before that happens. Experience the world of Minecraft with LEGO® Bricks in this fun-filled enrichment engineering class! Kids will start by crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using LEGO® Bricks. Students will face new challenges each day, building models and crafting key elements from the popular Minecraft game.

K - 5th graders

Mining and Crafting II Register
Steve is jumping for joy as he introduces the newest members of his Minecraft® world. Whether your child has attended our first session or not, reward them with the creativity and excitement this new camp has to offer. Campers will be challenged to bring their virtual designs to life by building new mob figures, mosaics and custom models, incorporating LEGO® Bricks. So, are you ready for the challenge?

Public Safety Patrol* Register
Experience the world of first responders through virtual training tools, classroom sessions, and hands-on excitement. Law enforcement, fire science, EMT, and more await students for this fast-paced, challenging three-day program.

11-15 year olds
