E-Learning courses may have a video component.
GCCC course videos for some classes are available online through a streaming media server. Streaming media means that the video starts to play while it downloads. You do not have to wait for it to download completely before watching. These videos play well using Windows Media Player. If you are accessing them using a MAC you will need to download a player. Microsoft has one available which converts the file for viewing in QuickTime: Flip4Mac Home Page.
These videos will play well using a high speed Internet connection. The course videos listed on this page are also available for check out from the circulation desk in the library. The course videos are on DVDs and will play using a DVD player.
Some courses have reserve DVDs that check out for a week. Your instructor will have information about videos that may be available for you to check out. If you live outside of Bay County, you may request items be mailed to you by filling out the e-Learning Resource Request form.
