- Signed up for and paid into the MGIB program
- Received a fully honorable discharge
- Received a High School Diploma or a GED
- Has been less than 10 years since discharge from service

The school and the Regional Processing Office require a copy of the following documents: |

- A copy of the DD214 Member 4
- A copy of the application with the last page signed
