The Nursing Option, Liberal Arts A.A. will prepare you to continue your studies to work toward your Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), which you can do here at Gulf Coast through the RN to BSN program once you obtain your RN license.

Who is eligible for the nursing Option, Liberal Arts A.A. program?

If you are a high school graduate, you can apply to this program.

If you have earned credits from a regionally accredited college or university, you may have a head start at Gulf Coast State College.

How do I apply to the nursing Option, Liberal Arts A.A. program?

To apply, you’ll need to complete the general admission application to Gulf Coast State College.  Visit the Gulf Coast admissions page to learn more about the application process.

In addition to the general application, you will need to complete an application packet for the Associate Degree Nursing program. The packet includes a complete list of admission requirements and prerequisite course requirements.
