The Culinary Arts Certificate program is a great way to fast-track your entry or advancement into the exciting world of the culinary arts.  This 35 credit hour program features hands-on training in our state-of-the-art facility in small classes taught by professional chefs.  Whether just starting out, or looking to hone your skills to move up in the hospitality world, the Culinary Arts Certificate program covers all of the bases. 

The program credits fully apply to our accredited Culinary Management AS degree program for those students wishing to earn their degree.

Who is eligible for the Culinary Arts, c.c.c. program?

 If you are a high school graduate, you can apply to this program.

If you have earned credits from a regionally accredited college or university, you may have a head start at Gulf Coast State College.

The Patronis Culinary Lab

This state-of-the-art culinary facility is the newest in the southeast.  With over 9000 square feet of lab space, this $3.5 million dollar culinary center boasts dedicated classroom facilities, the latest in AV and POS technology, three separate cooking lines, Bakery/Pastry lab, Ice Carving lab, and the John Holly Dining Room.  The Culinary facility is housed within the stunning Advanced Technology  Center at GCSC, a place where culinary students mingle with Digital Media, Cybersecurity, and Unmanned Aircraft and Robotics students.

 

Culinary Management Program Accreditation

The Culinary Management AS degree program at Gulf Coast State College is accredited by the American Culinary Federation, 180 Center Place Way, St. Augustine, FL  32095 , as well as the Florida Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
