Visual and Performing Arts Scholarships

Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship Auditions/Interviews will be held Thursday August 15, 2024 at 6:00pm in the Amelia G. Tapper Center for the Arts. Theatre

  • For Acting: Two contrasting monologues not to exceed three minutes.
  • For Musical Theatre: One monologue not to exceed 90 seconds and a song.
    (Applicants will need to bring sheet music or an accompaniment track without vocals.)
  • For Directing/Stage Management/Design: Applicants will need to come for a technical interview and bring their portfolio and resume and a sample of work if available.
  • Bring two letters of recommendation (one letter from a theatre teacher, and one from a teacher in an academic course area).
  • A copy of a high school or college transcript

Music

  • Perform two contrasting pieces on their instrument or voice. Voice applicants will need to bring an accompaniment track without vocals.

  • A portfolio of the applicant’s work including 10-12 high quality images (need not be matted). Work may also be submitted on slides or high quality digital format (CD).
  • Bring two letters of recommendation (one letter from an art teacher, and one from a teacher in an academic course area).
