Transcript REQUEST FAQs
Transcripts—Incoming and Outgoing—must be sent using a secure, third-party, Electronic Transcript Exchange Service or be mailed from Institution to Institution. International Students must use a different method for incoming transcripts (see below).

♦ How Can I Request an Outgoing Transcript from GCSC?

♦ What is a Transcript service?
Outgoing transcripts can be requested using several methods that use an Electronic Transcript Exchange Service. This service delivers an official transcript over a secure network.
♦ Can I specify my transcript be sent Now or at the end of the Current Term?
Transcripts can be sent out right away or held for the posting of the current semester
grades or until the current degree is awarded. Student must specify their preference. If you want your transcript immediately—do not select hold!
♦ Are the fees and process times the same?

INCOMING TRANSCRIPT REQUEST TO GCSC
♦ Will GCSC Accept hand-carried Transcripts?
GCSC will NOT accept Faxed, hand-carried or “Issued to Student” transcripts.
♦ How Do I senD my transcripts to GCSC?
To request that another institution send your OFFICIAL transcript to GCSC, please complete the Incoming Transcript Request form and send to each school you have attended.
♦ How do i order a GED® transcript and send it to GCSC?
Please order your Florida GED® transcript from www.GED.com. When asked where to send it enter GCSCtranscript@gulfcoast.edu.

♦ Can I send a transcript from a Foreign Institution (both high school and college) directly to GCSC?
Transcripts from foreign institutions (both high school and college) must be evaluated by any current NACES member. It is the responsibility of the student to bear all associated costs and fees. Gulf Coast will determine transferable credits. If the academic institution you attended does not issue documents in English, you must submit precise word for word translations of all your credentials.
♦ How are my out of the country courses evaluated?
Please submit university original transcripts to a NACES member for a course-by-course evaluation, in addition to the high school transcripts. Additional high school documents may be required. Acceptance of transfer courses is subject to approval by Gulf Coast State College.
♦ How can I have my foreign institution transcripts translated?
To have your documents translated, you may contact University Language Services (ULS).
