Master in the Kitchen

Learn how to cook like a chef! Whether you are a seasoned cook or are just beginning your culinary journey, Continuing Education offers a variety of culinary classes for all levels.  Learn how to chop vegetables as well as learning basic knife skills such as how to fillet, butterfly and carve proteins from our professional chefs in our state of the art culinary kitchen.

Southern Italian Basics

Join Culinary Management Instructor John Kady for an introduction to southern Italian cuisine.  In this fun and casual class, you will gain hands-on experience with, from-scratch marinara sauce, handmade pasta, and ravioli in the state-of-the-art culinary facility at Gulf Coast State College. Participants will go home with an Italian meal and their own ravioli stamp.
