Education Encore is offered by Continuing Education at Gulf Coast State College and provides non-credit enrichment education classes on a variety of topics for active and senior adults. The learning environment is fun and stress-free while offering diversity, insight, and wisdom.

Health & Safety Information

The College is committed to the safety of all students, faculty and staff and continues to follow guidelines provided by the CDC and health officials. Please visit Covid 19-Coronavirus webpage for the most updated information. The College has also taken additional precautionary safety measures including: installing Plexiglas shields in high traffic areas; distributing reusable masks to full-time employees; fogging classrooms, labs and public spaces with disinfectant; equipping classrooms with disinfectant wipes; and nightly facilities crews for extra cleaning. 


A full refund is available for participants who send an email request to by 12:00 pm five workdays prior to the first day of class. After this date, refunds will not be granted.  GCSC reserves the right to cancel courses and/or the program due to insufficient enrollment.
