Your instructor will help you make the most of your customized study plan to optimize your valuable study time and keep you on track for your upcoming SHRM Certification exam date. As you progress through the course and complete your learning activities, you'll see your study plan update in real time and get motivating reminders to keep you on track for success.

Online Topic Cards

Visualize your study plan through a series of course topic cards depicting SHRM BASK topics. As you move through the course materials, click on a card to access a topic overview or more in-depth study activities. As you complete a topic, another will take its place in your study plan. To sync your personal studies with the course syllabus, simply click to add or remove topic cards from your study plan.

Online Learning

Fill your knowledge and competency gaps with interactive online reading content (with optional audio segments) that teaches the entire SHRM BASK. Then, assess your understanding with flashcards and periodic quizzes. Based on your results, the Certification Prep System will either guide you forward to the next topic or provide you with suggested content for further review.

Practice Questions

Stephanie Conn, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Stephanie is a results-driven human resource professional with over 20 years of experience spanning the healthcare, banking and hospitality sectors. As Chief Human Resources Officer at PanCare of Florida, Inc., she oversees all aspects of the organization's human capital strategy, ensuring alignment with its mission to provide comprehensive, accessible healthcare services. 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Troy University. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute and as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She also holds the SHRM Specialty Credentials in Total Rewards, Workplace Investigations and California Law.

This 36-hour instructor-led course will meet each Tuesday, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM CST for 12 weeks.

The instructor-led segment of the course meets every Tuesday beginning February 3rd. The meeting time is 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM CST. The location is Gulf Coast State College Student Union East Building Room 243, Panama City, FL.

You may ask the instructor questions during class by raising your hand. If you have questions outside of the class, you may email the instructor or contact the CE Program Coordinator.

The SHRM Certification Prep System is included with this program.

You may not use material dated before 2026. If you have the 2026 material, contact Sherrie Lock, GCSC SHRM Program Coordinator.

The course does not include the exam fee. The instructor will review options based on the specific needs of each student. Practice exams are included.

If a class is missed, consult with the instructor to make up the material and remain on schedule. Participation is required.
