How long is the course?

This 36-hour instructor-led course will meet virtually each Thursdays, 5:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. CST for 12 weeks.

How do I attend a class?

Register for the course . You will receive a Zoom link before the first day of class. If you are not familiar with Zoom you are encouraged to watch the one-minute

How to Zoom Videos. The software is free but you will need a strong internet connection. To fully participate; use a desktop, laptop, or tablet and avoid using a cell phone. Wherever you have an internet connection, you will have access to your course. If some of the students in this class would prefer to meet at the GCSC campus, a classroom will be reserved exclusively for them.

Can I ask the instructor questions during the online sessions?

You may ask the instructor questions during class by raising your hand or typing a question via Zoom. Simply unmute your audio for the instructor to hear your question. If you have questions outside of the class, you may email the instructor or contact the CE Program Coordinator.

Do I need to purchase the SHRM Learning System separately?

The SHRM Learning System is included with this program.

What if I already own the SHRM Learning System?

Please consult with the CE Program Coordinator if you already own the SHRM Learning System.

Is the SHRM Exam already included with this course?

This course does not include the final exam or exam fee. To learn more about the exam schedule and associated fees please visit SHRM.org. Practice exams are included. The instructor will review options based on the specific needs of each student.

If I miss an online session, will I be able to watch a recording?

This is instructor-led virtual training. If a class is missed, consult with the instructor to make up the material and remain on schedule. Participation is required.
