Basic Computer Skills

Computer Basics 101  Register!
This class will assist students in feeling comfortable with using a computer. Students will be introduced to the basic steps of using a computer from starting, opening programs, establishing settings, and personalizing the desktop. Students will learn how to navigate programs and save documents on various drives. They will also learn to setup the WiFi in order to access and navigate the Internet.

Microsoft Access Basic   Register!
In this condensed version you will be introduced to the basic operation of Access including how to create a database from a template, the basics of tabs, and other useful functions. This introductory course will equip new students with an overview of Excel basics, providing a beginner level foundation of the application. This accounting software will help you keep your financial statements in order. Online and desktop, view and manage customers/vendors, chart of accounts, create invoices and statements, generate reports, reconcile accounts, receive payments, pay bills, write checks, online banking integration, and track income and expenses. At the end of the class you will leave equipped with the best ways to get around within the program and enter day-to-day transactions.
